Junior Jaren Marino has been named the Golden Bear Star Performer for January 21-28.

Marino scored eight points in the Golden Bear 79-73 win over Washington Adventist University.

The guard racked up a game-high with 23 points while going 10-for-12 from the field and a perfect 2-for-2 from the foul line. He also pulled down four boards and grabbed two steals against Campbellsville University (Ky.).

Tech improved to 13-9 and have now won five games in a row with the 79-68 win over Campbellsville.

Marino hails from Dunbar, W. Va. and is studying Civil Engineering at Tech.
