Sophomore Jack Cavanagh has been named the Golden Bear Star Performer for February 4-11.

Swimming competed at Davis & Elkins College in Elkins, W. Va. on February 1.

Cavanagh completed the 200 IM in 2:02.09 to take a first place finish out of four swimmers.

Jack also competed on the 200 freestyle relay with fellow teammates sophomores Kyle Polcyzynski and Gabriel Grauwde, and freshman Matheus Montarroyos. The Golden Bears finished with a time of 1:32.00 to take second.

The Ontario native is currently studying chemical engineering at WVU Tech.
