Junior guard Leon Cooper, Jr. has been named the Golden Bear Star Performer for February 26-March 5.

Tech improved to 18-11 with a win over Barber-Scotia College on February 22 in the Baisi Athletic Center for Senior Day.

Cooper scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the double-double. Leon also threw down a few dunks during the match-up including a flawless 360 slam.

The junior has hit double-digits for Tech in his last four games in scoring efforts, averaging 12.72 points per game this season.

The Freeport, Bahamas native is studying Sports Managment as a Golden Bear.
