Senior Nick Quintero has been named the Golden Bear Star Performer for March 19-26.

In three games at the Vero Beach Tournament hosted in Florida, Quintero, who has hit at least once in four of his last five games played, was 3-for-9 at the plate with four RBI and two runs.

The highlight of his weekend was a 2-for-5, two run and RBI performance in Tech's win over Greater Allegheny.
