Freshman Mike Ryan has been named the Golden Bear Star Performer for April 9-16.

The Golden Bears went 2-2 this past week, recording two wins over Bluefield State College.

Ryan went a total 5-for-13 at the plate for Tech. The freshman crossed the plate twice while driving in two runs.

The San Jose, Ca. native studies Athletic Coaching Education at WVU Tech.

The team is currently in a five-game series against NCAA DI foe Marshall University and Ohio Christian University.
