Freshman Kendra Monnin has been named a Golden Bear Star Performer for Oct. 22-28.

Helping the women of WVU Tech swimming to a third place finish at the Falcon Sprint Invite, Monnin swam the breaststroke leg of the first place 200 Medley Relay, splitting a 32.99

The Knoxville, Tennessee native went on to win the 100 IM (1:05.33) and the 100 Breast (1:11.73).

Monnin is the daughter of Mark and Lisa Monnin and is majoring in chemical engineering as a Golden Bear.
