Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for August 19-28, 2022 were announced Monday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Junior Ana Muniz Rocandio (volleyball) and senior Endjick Albert (men's soccer) highlight this week's honors.

A native of Oviedo, Asturias, Spain, Muniz Rocandio recorded a team-high 27 kills over three matches at 2.45 kills per set. The junior also had the team's best 45 digs to go with five assists, three blocks and two service aces.
