Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for September 19-25, 2022 were announced Wednesday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Freshmen Luka Felix (men's soccer) and FARGO (Waleed Alghamdi) (esports) highlight this week's honors.

A native of Beckley, West Virginia, Alghamdi, led the team with a total of 11 goals including a hat trick of hat tricks. FARGO put away three goals in game one, game three and game four while adding one in game two as WVU Tech defeated Marietta College 3-1 in Rocket League.
