Junior Shannon Wiercioch has been named a Golden Bear Star Performer for January 6-13.

Starting off the meet at West Virginia Wesleyan University was the women's 200 medley relay, where the team of Wiercioch, Francine Meyer, Kendra Monnin and Rubhi Garcia raced to a second place finish in a time of 2:01.96.

The junior also finished second in the 200 Fly (2:46.83) and helped lead the 200 Freestyle relay team to a second place finish with a time of 1:51.94.

The daughter of Jami Miller is a native of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia and studies criminal justice at WVU Tech.
