The final Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for the 2024-2025 season were announced Thursday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Freshman Alvaro Iglesias Pascual (golf) and senior Bryson Beaver (golf) highlight the week of May 5-11, 2025 honors.

Iglesias Pascual, who hails from Castellon, Spain, was the top Golden Bear during the River States Conference (RSC) Championship. He finished third out of 48 golfers with a 224 (+8). The freshman earned first-team RSC All-Conference honors.

Beaver, an Elkview, W.Va. native, also helped Tech to a second-place finish at the RSC Golf Championship, finishing 10th after three rounds with a score of 228 (+12). The senior earned second-team RSC All-Conference accolades.
