The WVU Tech Athletic Department has announced its Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for Dec. 29 – Jan. 4, 2026. This week’s honors go to junior guard Brandon Moore of men’s basketball and sophomore Troy Harris of wrestling, following standout performances in conference play and tournament competition.

Brandon Moore (Lima, Ohio)

Moore delivered a dominant all-around performance in WVU Tech’s 97–77 road win at IU East, finishing with 24 points on 10-of-15 shooting. He added seven rebounds, seven assists and three steals, impacting the game in every phase.

The junior led the Golden Bears in scoring while also pacing the offense and providing defensive pressure, playing a key role in WVU Tech’s conference victory to open the new year.
