Sophomore Jose Segarra has been named a Golden Bear Star Performer of the Week for September 30 - October 6, 2015.

The Vall de Uixo, Castellon, Spain native posted three goals and an assist last week as the WVU Tech men's soccer team went 3-0. Segarra had a goal in the 2-0 shutout over Point Park University, a goal and an assist versus Ohio Christian University and a goal against Asbury University.

The sophomore is the son of Jose Ignacio Segarra and Manuela Bove and is majoring in athletic coaching education as a Golden Bear.
