Sophomore Ivy Aleshire has been named a Golden Bear Star Performer of the Week for September 30 - October 6, 2015.

The Clay, West Virginia native was the WVU Tech women's cross country team's top finisher at the Greater Louisville Cross Country Classic Saturday afternoon as the team finished 28^thout of 44 squads.

Aleshire placed 20^thout of a 278-woman pool as she clocked a season-best 19:31.

The daughter of Rodney and Linda Aleshire is studying nursing as a Golden Bear.
