Conrad Lacey (Anchorage, AK) is the second member of the Golden Bears’ wrestling team to earn Student-Athlete of the Week honors.

After mounting a third period comeback at the Edinboro open on January 12, Conrad closed out his final home match of the 2011/12 season with a convincing decision over Kyle Honeycutt of Ohio Valley on Tuesday.

In the two previous bouts between the rivals, Honeycutt managed to get the better of Conrad, winning twice by falls.  This time, it was Lacey who wrestled well in all three positions and dominated riding time to take a 9-0 major decision victory in front of a home crowd in the Baisi Center.

The major decision win wraps up a pair of solid performances for the Anchorage, Alaska native.
