Senior LaKisha Adkins has been named a Golden Bear Star Performer of the Week for January 13-19, 2016.
Adkins, who hails from Huntington, West Virginia, averaged 11 ppg as WVU Tech went 1-3 last week in conference play. The guard combined for 44 points and 26 rebounds.
The daughter of Duron Jackson and Melissa Adkins dished 20 steals during the week, including ten against the University of Rio Grande. Adkins also grabbed ten steals.
Adkins is currently ranked No. 23 in the Nation (NAIA DII), averaging 4.118 assists per game.
She is studying athletic coaching education at a Golden Bear.
