Sophomore Nikki Aleshire has been named a Golden Bear Star Performer of the Week for March 16-22, 2016.

Aleshire competed in the 10,000m run at the Washington and Lee Carnival Saturday, finishing with a time of 39:13.63. The Clay, West Virginia native now has the fourth best time in the nation (NAIA DI) for this event.

The daughter of Rodney and Linda Aleshire is majoring in nursing at WVU Tech.
