Junior Brady Groesbeck has been named a Golden Bear Star Performer of the Week for April 19-26, 2016.

Tech baseball went 5-1 last week and Groesbeck combined eight hits, seven RBI, four runs scored and two doubles.

The San Diego, California native had a stand out game against KIAC foe University of Rio Grande when Tech took a 5-4 victory after 12 innings. Groesbeck finished 2-for-3 at the plate with a double, sac hit, sac fly and three RBI to lead the Gold and Blue.

The son of Peter and Jeani Groesbeck is majoring in health services administration at WVU Tech.
