Sophomore Ana Monteiro has been named a Golden Bear Athlete of the Week for October 21-27, 2016.

Monteiro combined for 33 digs, 25 kills, three blocks and a service ace in three matches for the Golden Bears last week. The São Paulo, Brazil native now has a total of 356 digs in 2016 to go with 138 kills and 19 service aces.

The daughter of Ana Lúcia Monteiro is majoring in chemical engineering at Tech.
