Senior Atiyyah Herron has been named a Golden Bear Athlete of the Week for February 10-16, 2017.

Herron had the top effort for Tech at the Finn Pincus Invitational hosted by Roanoke College, finishing third in the 500 meters and fifth in the 600 meters.

The North Royalton, Ohio native completed the 500 meters with a time of 1:31.60 and ran to a time of 1:57.33 in the 600 meters. Herron also ran the 800 meters (29^th, 2:50.79).
