Freshman Ashley Daniels has been named a Golden Bear Athlete of the Week for February 23 - March 2, 2017.

Daniels went 6-for-14 at the plate last week for the Gold and Blue. The Knoxville, Tennessee native recorded a home run, a double, two RBI and three runs scored.

Daniels currently leads the team with a batting average of .360 on nine hits in 2017.
