Senior Genna Trippett has been named a Golden Bear Athlete of the Week for March 3-10, 2017.

Trippett combined for nine hits last week including a home run in each of Tech's last three games. The home run knocked by the Parkersburg, West Virginia native against No. 2 Saint Xavier also drove in sophomore Skylar Connelly to help launch Tech past last season's national (NAIA) champions, 3-0.

Trippett also recorded four RBI and three runs scored and in the field, she had 33 put outs and five assists while committing just two errors.
