Sophomore Skylar Connelly has been named a Golden Bear Athlete of the Week for April 7-13, 2017 for the second time this season.

Connelly marked at least one hit in every game for the Golden Bears last week including two multi-hit games. She combined for three doubles, a triple, a home run, six runs scored and five RBI.

The Ottawa, Illinois native's three-run long ball against Midway University helped propel Tech past the Eagles for a huge River States Conference win, 4-3. Connelly currently leads the team with a .438 batting average and a .629 slugging percentage.
