Senior Francisco Neto has been named a Golden Bear Athlete of the Week for October 5-11, 2017.

Neto scored four goals in two games to earn River States Conference (RSC) Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for October 2-8 as well.

A junior wing from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Neto totaled eight points on the week with one goal in a 3-1 win over Indiana University East and then a hat trick in a 6-0 victory over Ohio Christian.
