Lynch won the shot put at the UNC-Charlotte 49er Classic this past weekend to earn the second throw in the nation (NAIA) as of March 22.

A native of Selah, Wash., Lynch took first place at the NCAA Division I meet with a toss of 17.13 meters in the shot put. Lynch was one of only two throwers to surpass 17.00 meters at the meet.
