WVU Tech Athletics

Freshman Adam Westrick has been named the student-athlete of the week for October 10 through 16.  Westrick has been the backbone to the men’s cross country team coming in as a solid number three runner for the Golden Bears.
 
Westrick medaled at the Fighting Scots Invitational where the team received third place overall.  He also has been instrumental in the team’s success improving by two full minutes at the 42nd Annual Patty Forgey Invitational where the men also returned home with a third place trophy.
 
Westrick is a psychology major from Nanty-Glo, Pennsylvania.
