Sophomore Craig Mitchell has been named the student-athlete of the week for October 17 through 23. Mitchell has been the backbone to the men’s soccer team and their defensive play.

So far this season, the sophomore centerback has netted four goals on 15 shots while anchoring the defensive side of the ball that has only allowed 14 goals this season while the team has scored 55.

Mitchell is a biology major from Prestwick, Scotland.
