Junior Zach Sizemore has been named the Golden Bear Star Performer for March 27 through April 2.
 
This past week, Sizemore led the Golden Bears to a 6-0 record improving the team record to 16-14 overall and 9-3 in USCAA play.  During this six game stretch against the University of Pikeville and Ohio Mid-Western College, Sizemore went 8-for-21 (.381) with two doubles, one triple, and a homerun while recording 10 RBIs.  The 6’2” first baseman is batting .356 on the season with a slugging percentage of .587.  Sizemore has hit six doubles, three triples, and four homeruns while driving in 30 runs and stealing five bases on the season.  Defensively, Sizemore has racked up 220 putouts and 10 assists.  He has started all 30 games for the Golden Bears this season.
