Freshman Taylor Norman has been named the Golden Bear Star Performer for April 10 through April 16.

In her first collegiate career start, freshman right-handed pitcher Taylor Norman pitched a no-hitter in Sunday’s matchup against Southern State Community College. During the 13-0 Golden Bear victory, the 5’5” freshman struck out a career high 10 batters helping the Golden improve to 10-12 on the season. Norman is 1-1 on the season with a 5.44 ERA and 20 strikeouts.

Norman is a general studies major from Logan, West Virginia.
