Scott Cowley is a 2002 and 2003 alumnus from West Virginia University Institute of Technology, receiving an A.S. degree in Drafting & Design Engineering Technology ('02) and a B.S. degree in Industrial Technology ('03).

From 1997 to 2000, Scott was a member of the Golden Bears football team. He played 38 of 44 games and started in 32. Scott was elected team captain by his coaches and teammates during his sophomore, junior and senior seasons. He served as a graduate assistant offensive line coach from 2000 to 2001.

Scott was selected to be on the 1998 and 1999 WVIAC 2nd Team All-Conference (Offensive Line) team, the 2000 WVIAC 1st Team All-Conference (Offensive Line) team and played in the 2001 National All-Stars game in Louisville, Kentucky.

Scott is a 1997 graduate of South Charleston High School in South Charleston, West Virginia. While in high school, he was a member of the 1994 state championship football team, competed in shot-put and discus and was a 1997 Class AAA All-State Football honorable mention.

Scott is currently the Equipment Product Division Director for Mason & Barry, Inc. and is approaching 18 years of service there. In addition to his responsibilities as a division director, Scott is responsible for business development with the professional engineering community and representing Daikin VRV sales, applied systems sales and configuration.

Scott is married to his high school sweetheart and WVU Tech graduate Kristin (Osborne) Cowley.

They will celebrate their fifteenth wedding anniversary this year and have two children, Bennett, 9, and Adleigh, 5. They currently reside in Charleston, WV.
