FIRST ROUND (Asbury Shooutout)
  • The team is currently in third place out of six teams with a 316.
  • Freshman Matt Ryan is in fourth place.
  • Freshman Braden Keown is tied for tenth place.

LAST TOURNAMENT
  • Finished the Blue Raider Classic with an 11th place finish as a team.
  • Tech was led by Ryan who finished tied for 14th over the two-day tournament, shooting a 74 (+2) on day one and a low 69 (-3) on the final day.
  • Senior Steven Han finished T25 after posting rounds of 74 (+2) and 71 (-1).
  • Freshman Callum Langford fired a 168  (+14) while fellow classmates Makenzie Gaskin and Hunter Owens shot 168 (+16) and 169 (+17) respectively.

LAST GAME
  • Opened their season Sunday afternoon in Media, Pennsylvania with a 9-0 shutout victory over Penn State Brandywine.
  • Freshman Harry Reilly recorded the hat trick with three goals, marking his first collegiate goal and assist.
  • Sophomore Francisco Neto netted two goals for the Golden Bears.
  • Tech also saw contributions from senior Sam Laughton with two assists.
  • Junior Drew Lytton, freshman Thomas Holtz and sophomore Scott Brown had a goal each.
  • The other assists were dished by juniors Prince Idornigie and Daniel Ramirez and freshman Matias Pazos.
  • Junior goalkeeper Hunter Moles (1-0) recorded the shutout win with four saves for the Golden Bears.
  • The Golden Bears outshot the Nittany Lions 34-10 also holding advantage in corner kicks, 9-3.
  • Reilly and Neto led the team with seven shots (four on goal) each.

LAST MATCH
  • Dropped a pair of matches Tuesday at the Tech Tri-Match, losing to Bluefield State College (3-0) and fellow KIAC member University of Rio Grande (3-0) in a non-conference match-up.
  • The Golden Bears dropped match one versus Bluefield State with scores of 25-23, 25-13 and 25-16. In the nightcap, Tech fell 25-19, 25-15 and 25-18.
  • Tech was led on the night by junior Keyonna Morrow who recorded 15 digs and 14 kills.
  • Senior Jaymee Hannan posted a team-high 17 digs while producing 19 assists.
  • Junior Michala Dean led in assists with 21 to go with six kills.
  • Senior Jacque Carroll finished with nine kills on the night.
  • Junior Mackenzie Snare had eight in match two.
  • Freshman Ana Monteiro served two aces, one each match, to bring her season total to a team-high six.

LAST GAME
  • The team earned their third consecutive win with a 3-0 shutout over Montreat College (North Carolina) Saturday afternoon.
  • The Golden Bears (4-1, 0-1 KIAC) have matched the number of regular season wins total in 2014 very early in this year's campaign.
  • Tech picked up the victory due to goals by junior captain Alyssa Capon (20'), freshman Brianna Enger (63') with her fourth of the season and sophomore Tristen Kilman (68').
  • Kilman also marked the assist with a cross to Enger in the second half.
  • Senior goalkeeper Sydney Schaeffer (2-0) was given the shutout win after 90 minutes of play and a save for the Golden Bears.
