BLACK MOUNTAIN, North Carolina -- WVU Tech women's soccer saw five different goal scorers during their second victory in 2017 after a 7-1 win over Brewton-Parker College Saturday afternoon in Montreat, North Carolina. The Golden Bears boost their record to 2-0 while the Barons hold a record of 0-3.
Senior
Olivia Mantohbang (1' and 49') and sophomore
Lorena Moyers (76' and 78') scored two each for the Gold and Blue while sophomores
Clarice Taylor (17'),
Victoria Ellis (65') and
Veronica Nobles (78') had one a piece.
Senior
Tyler Graves and Ellis posted an assist each.
Senior goalkeeper
Martha Reyna (2-0) was awarded the win after 90 minutes of play and one save.
The Barons' keeper, Kaylee Jones, recorded three saves and seven goals allowed after a complete game.
Tech will next face Truett-McConnell University in Black Mountain, North Carolina on Monday, September 4.
