WILMORE, Kentucky -- The WVU Tech women's soccer team ended its 2018 season at Asbury University Saturday afternoon after falling 3-1 in River States Conference (RSC) play.
The team finished with four shots on goal (seven shots) including the goal from senior
Maria Gonzalez who recorded Tech's goal in minute 38.

Asbury's goals were credited to Devon Long (5'), Cam Davis (8') and Logan Hall (29').
Freshman keeper,
Jenna Miller, made one Eagle stop after a complete game protecting the net. Asbury's keeper, Carley Pyles, was forced to make three Golden Bear stops while allowing one goal.
The Gold and Blue finish their season (as of October 27) with three top 50 rankings in the nation (NAIA) including No. 22 in shots per game (21.58), No. 30 in shots on goal per game (10.42) and No. 44 in shutouts per game (0.42). Individually, freshman

The Golden Bears finish 7-6-1, 4-4-1 (RSC) while the Eagles move to 9-7, 6-2 (RSC).
