CHARLESTON, West Virginia -- WVU Tech women's basketball fell at NCAA DII University of Charleston 77-69 Tuesday evening. The Golden Bears now hold a record of 1-3 while the Golden Eagles move to 2-1.
Tech was led by junior
Logan Dudley who posted 15 points while pulling down eight rebounds.
Sophomore
Brittney Justice and junior
Katelyn Byrd also hit double-digits recording 11 and 10 points respectively. B. Justice also marked four rebounds and four assists.Â
Seniors Alex Combs and
Savannah Shamblin both poured in nine points.
Junior
Carlie Biehl-Wilson had five rebounds for the Gold and Blue.
As a team, Tech finished 26-for-55 (47.3 percent) from the field while Charleston was 31-for-67 (46.3 percent). The Golden Eagles held the advantage in rebounds, 41-27.
WVU Tech will return to the court Friday when they travel to Marian University in Indianapolis, Indiana.
