RICHMOND, Indiana -- WVU Tech women's soccer and Indiana University East ended in a 0-0 tie after double-overtime Saturday afternoon. The Golden Bears now hold a record of 6-5-2, 5-2-2 (RSC) while the Red Wolves move to 11-3-2, 6-1-3 (RSC) after the River States Conference (RSC) contest.
Tech's defense worked hard including goalkeeper
Jenna Miller (6-5-2) who posted ten saves and allowed zero goals in 110 minutes of play.
The Golden Bears had two shots on frame, both from sophomore
Brittany Dye.
IU East's keeper, Gabby Mitchum, stopped those two attempts and didn't allow a goal in the complete game.
WVU Tech will finish out the regular season when they play IU Kokomo November 5 in conference play.
