BECKLEY, West Virginia -- (RV) WVU Tech women's basketball boasts three consecutive wins and three games this season with 100+ points as they defeated Washington Adventist University 106-39 Saturday evening in Beckley. The Golden Bears move to 6-3 this season while the Shock hold a record of 2-5.
Junior
Brittney Justice led all scorers with 28 points, matching her career-high. The Danese, West Virginia native also pulled down seven boards to go with three assists, two steals and a block.
Junior
Kathylee Pinnock Branford had a well-rounded game, pouring in 12 points while grabbing a game-best eight rebounds. She also posted a game-high seven assists and two steals.
Senior
Laura Requena recorded 14 points, six rebounds, a steal and an assist.
Freshman
Alyssa Taylor came off the bench to post 11 points, seven rebounds and a steal.
Tech totaled 60 rebounds with help from freshman

As a team, the Gold and Blue shot 49.4 percent while their defense held the Shock to just 23.6 percent shooting.
Tech also held the advantage in points off turnovers (35-6), second chance points (22-5), bench points (36-18), points in the paint (46-12) and fast break points (29-4).
The team will return to action Tuesday, November 26 when they travel to Campbellsville University.
