BECKLEY, West Virginia -- (RV) WVU Tech women's basketball still hold a perfect record of 10-0 in the River States Conference after posting a 104-74 W against Asbury University Saturday. The Golden Bears hold an overall record of 17-6 while the Eagles move to 15-7, 4-5 (RSC).
Tech leads the RSC East with University of Rio Grande following at 2.0 games back. Asbury is currently No. 3 in the RSC West at 1.5 games back.

Brittney Justice led all scorers with 27 points while adding five rebounds, five assists and a block.

Whittney Justice finished 4-for-6 from beyond the arc towards 16 points while recording five rebounds, four assists and two steals.

Kathylee Pinnock Branford also hit double-digits for the Gold and Blue, pouring in 13 points. She also posted seven assists, three rebounds and a steal.

Eugenia Marcelli pulled down a team-high nine boards to go with four points, two assists, a block and a steal.

The team finished 42-for-84 (50.0 percent) from the floor and held the Eagles to just a 28-for-78 (35.9 percent) effort. Tech also won the battle under the boards, 51-42.
WVU Tech will return to Summersville, West Virginia to host Indiana University Kokomo next Saturday, February 1.
