BECKLEY, West Virginia -- WVU Tech women's soccer celebrated their seniors and then celebrated a win as the Golden Bears defeated Oakland City University 2-0 in River States Conference (RSC) action Saturday afternoon. Tech now holds a record of 5-4-2, 4-4-2 (RSC) while the Mighty Oaks move to 1-6-1, 0-5 (RSC).

Yasmin Del Valle,
Madison Thompson, Breanna Dunfee and Karalie Rutherford were featured at half time for their contributions to the program.
Moncayo posted both goals for the Gold and Blue as they blanked Oakland City. The senior found the back of the net first in the 34th minute and followed that in minute 42.Â
The lone assist Saturday was credited to junior
Jodie Pallant during the Gold and Blue's final score of the match.
Junior
Jenna Miller was in goal for a full 90 minutes, making four stops in the shut out.
The MIghty Oaks had Jillian Beem protect the net where she was forced to stop seven Golden Bear attempts while allowing two goals.
