BECKLEY, West Virginia --Â WVU Tech women's soccer fell to Indiana University East in River States Conference (RSC) action 3-1 Thursday evening. The Golden Bears now hold a record of 2-2-1, 1-2-1 (RSC) while the Red Wolves move to 2-0, 2-0 (RSC).
Tech's goal came from junior
Brittany Dye, her third of the season, when she found the back of the net in the 42nd minute.Â
IU East's goals were credited to Sophie Pohlabel, Kimberly Trapp and Priscilla Carvajal.
Junior
Jenna Miller protected the net for Tech for a full 90 minutes, making seven saves.
The Red Wolves' keeper, Gabby Mitchum also made seven stops for a complete game and the victory.
The team will return to the field Saturday, October 10 when they host Indiana University Kokomo in Beckley.
