BECKLEY, West Virginia -- For the second consecutive game, WVU Tech women's soccer posted a tie in River States Conference (RSC) action 1-1 against Point Park University after double overtime Saturday. The Golden Bears now hold a record of 3-6-2, 1-3-2 (RSC) while the Pioneers move to 5-6-1, 4-1-1 (RSC).
Tech struck first when
Anna Baker found the back of the net off the perfect corner kick from
Jodie Pallant in minute 56.
The equalizer from the Pioneers came from Kelsee McHugh at 83 minutes.
Jenna Miller protected the net for 110 minutes and made seven saves for the Gold and Blue. Point Park's keeper, Ella Serlin, was forced to make four stops in the complete game.
Tech will play again October 14 for another conference match-up at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods University.
