BECKLEY, West Virginia -- WVU Tech women's soccer ended its 2021 campaign celebrating seniors and a victory Saturday evening. The Golden Bears recognized seniors Jacinda Chapman, Jenna Miller, Jenefer Luguvi, Brittany Dye, Brooke Daniels, Katie Bol, Anna Baker, Emily Harrah, Ellie Dickson and Beatriz Bomansour.

Tech defeated Midway University 4-2 in River States Conference (RSC) play.

Luguvi and Daniels both scored their first career goals. Dye and Bomansour also found the back of the net in the 90 minutes while Dye also recorded an assist. The other assists were credited to Bol and Baker.

Miller protected the net and made five stops for Tech after 86 minutes of play. Holly Staniforth also saw some action as keeper, making one save in the W.

The Gold and Blue finished the season 5-8-3 overall while the Eagles hold a record of 5-11.
