MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- WVU Tech guard Alanis Hill averaged 21.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 8.0 assists per game to earn River States Conference (RSC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week for November 29 - December 5.
A sophomore from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Hill had two big games to push the Golden Bears to a pair of RSC wins. She nearly had a triple-double in a 96-80 win over Ohio Valley, which included 16 points, nine rebounds and 12 assists. Hill also had 27 points, six rebounds, four assists and four steals in an 89-67 win over Ohio Christian.
For the week, Hill shot 57 percent (17-for-30) from the field and 75 percent (9-for-12) from the foul line. WVU Tech improved to 4-1 RSC and 4-7 overall heading into the game at Pikeville Tuesday, December 7.
