PIPPA PASSES, Kentucky -- WVU Tech women's basketball fell to River States Conference (RSC) opponent Alice Lloyd College 86-78 Thursday. The Golden Bears now hold a record of 8-13, 6-4 (RSC) while the Eagles move to 12-5, 5-3 (RSC).
Alyssa Taylor finished with a double-double effort of a career-high 13 rebounds and 11 points.
Brianna Ball came off the bench to produce a team-high 22 points to go with three rebounds and a block.
Brittney Justice recorded 16 points and four rebounds while
Whittney Justice had 13 points and four assists.
Emilee Whitt poured in eight points and had five boards while
Elle Baker finished 6-for-6 from the foul line towards eight points and two blocks.
Tech will return to the court in one week when they travel to Indiana University Kokomo January 27.
