BECKLEY, West Virginia -- WVU Tech battled a tough Midway University in River States Conference (RSC) action, falling just short 81-79 Sunday. The Golden Bears now hold a record of 6-11, 4-3 (RSC) while the Eagles move to 14-4, 7-0 (RSC).
Alanis Hill captured another double-double, posting 17 points and 11 rebounds. Hill also recorded four assists, three steals and a block.
Brittney Justice had a team-high 24 points to go with six rebounds while
Whittney Justice produced 16 points, seven boards and four assists.
Brianna Ball pulled down 11 rebounds while
Alyssa Taylor finished with eight boards.
Tech will travel to Washington Adventist University for a non-conference match-up Tuesday.
