WICHITA, Kansas -- WVU Tech's
Isaiha Casto was the lone Golden Bear to represent Tech at the NAIA National Championship held March 4.
Casto, who grappled at 174 lbs., lost his first round by a 4-1 decision against No. 12-ranked Michael Scarponi of Doane.
In his final bout, Casto dropped a 7-6 decision in a tough match-up against Thomas More's Andrew Taylor.
Casto finished his first season with the Gold and Blue with a record 17-7 overall.
The Saint Albans native was also runner-up in the Appalachian Athletic Conference in his weight class.
