WICHITA, Kansas -- Golden Bear
Isaiha Casto finished his season at the NAIA National Championship March 3 in Wichita. The senior represented WVU Tech at 184 pounds.
Casto, a native of Saint Albans, West Virginia, finished 2-2 on the day including two W's over ranked opponents.
He started the day falling just short to No. 11 Michael Densmore (Embry-Riddle) with an 11-10 decision.
Casto followed that with a sudden victory over No. 12 Daryus Webb (Avila) 8-6.
The senior's next W was scored over No. 13 Brett Bober (Baker) when he earned an 8-4 decision.
The final bout of the day for Casto was against Sawyer Hobbs (Providence) when he dropped an 8-5 decision.
