BECKLEY, W.Va. -- WVU Tech women's soccer dropped a 5-0 decision to Georgetown College Thursday at Paul Cline Stadium. The Golden Bears move to 0-2 while the Tigers hold a record of 1-0.
Sophomore
Sandra Garcia Quilez (Zaragoza, Spain) protected WVU Tech's net for 90 minutes, making 16 saves.
Freshman
Carson Barr (New Manchester, W.Va.) finished with three shots on goal while fellow classmate
Korinne Potter (Woodbridge, Va.) recorded one.
Georgetown's keeper, Daysia Thompson, finished with four stops in the win.
Tech will be back in action next Thursday (August 31) when they travel to Carolina University for a 7 p.m. contest.
