Beckley, W.Va. - The WVU Tech League of Legends team dropped their week two National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC) match against the Louisville Cardinals Tuesday night.

Patrick Hilbert, Soph.) got off to a good start, battling to victory in game one of the best-of-three match. But Louisville battled back and took a closely contested game two before earning a more decisive win in game three to take the match.
The Golden Bears are now 1-1 on the young season, with St. Lawrence University (0-2) up next Tuesday night at 6:00 p.m. The action will be streamed live on Twitch (WVUTechGoldenBears).
