Two Golden Bears place at LUCHA Open

POWDER SPRINGS, Ga. -- WVU Tech wrestling had two Golden Bears place at the LUCHA Open hosted by Life University Saturday.

McEachern High School | Powder Springs, Ga. 

NOTES
  • Maxwell Underwood was a place winner at 197 lbs, finishing fifth.
  • Troy Harris finished sixth at 149 lbs.
  • WVU Tech posted nine Falls as a team.
  • Tech faced competitors from Brewton-Parker, Life University, Pikeville, Missouri Baptist, Apprentice School, University of Central Florida, Cumberlands, Montevallo, UNC Pembroke, Andrew College, Glasgow Wresting Academy, Mount Olive, Limestone, Florida A&M University and Campbellsville.
  • The Golden Bears competed at 125 lbs., 133 lbs., 141 lbs., 149 lbs., 165 lbs., 174 lbs., 184 lbs., 197 lbs. and 285 lbs.
