BECKLEY, W.Va. -- WVU Tech women's basketball dropped a 96-68 River States Conference (RSC) contest to Ohio Christian University Tuesday in the Beckley Raleigh County Convention Center. The Golden Bears now hold a record of 5-19, 2-12 (RSC) while the Trailblazers move to 19-6, 10-4 (RSC).
Three Golden Bears hit double-digits including a team-high of 17 points from junior
Stacey Begay (Chinle, Ariz.). Sophomore
Alexis Sexton (Lexington, S.C.) poured in 12 points while senior
Breeana Grigsby (Stockton, Calif.) had 11 for the Gold and Blue.

Alva Hedrich (Muecke, Hessen, Germany) led the way under the boards for Tech with nine rebounds to go with eight points, two steals and two blocks. Begay added eight rebounds, four assists and a steal, Grigsby finished with six boards, an assist and a steal and Sexton had four assists, three steals and a rebound.
WVU Tech will be back on the road Saturday when they travel to conference rival University of Rio Grande for a 1 p.m. tip-off.
