PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- WVU Tech women's basketball ended its 2023-2024 campaign at River States Conference (RSC) opponent Point Park University Friday, falling 94-56.
Sophomore
Alva Hedrich (Muecke, Hessen, Germany) was one board short of a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds.Â
Senior
Breeana Grigsby (Stockton, Calif.) poured in eight points to go with five rebounds, a steal and an assist. Junior
Stacey Begay (Chinle, Ariz.) also had eight points while posting five rebounds.
Senior
Elysia Perez (Guam) and sophomore
Alexis Sexton (Lexington, S.C.) had six points each while grabbing four and three rebounds respectively. Perez added three assists and a block while Sexton had two assists.
Freshman
Kyra Brown (Charleston, W.Va.) finished with six points while sophomores
Nell Marx (Stockholm, Sweden) had four and
Avery Lucas (Hamlin, W.Va.) had two points.
Senior
Chevelle Boyd (Portland, Oregon) and junior
Leonor Ferreira (Matosinhos, Portugal) had one and two rebounds respectively.
The Golden Bears finish the season 5-22 while the Pioneers will move onto the RSC Championship at 11-6.
